Austrian racer planning for 'all international road races'

TT rider, Julian Trummer will compete for Smith Racing in 2026.

The Austrian has announced they'll be working together on 'all international road races' next year.

In the supersport classes he will pilot Triumph 765R machinery and a BMW M1000RR in Superbike and Superstock races.

Confirming the move, Trummer on social media says 'the team and the bikes have already proved at the TT how fast they are and I am super motivated to continue where I left off in 2024 with such experienced guys.'

Meanwhile, Smith Racing adds: "Julian has shown a keen interest towards us as a team over the last couple of years so we are looking forward to seeing what we can achieve together.

"Julian proved he’s knocking on the door of the top 10 in 2024.

"Plans for 2026 are the international road races, legendary IOM TT, Northwest 200 and more."

Having made his TT debut in 2017 he's been involved in every meeting on the Snaefell Mountain Course between then and 2024.

At this year's Isle of Man TT Races, he'd been due to race for Lionheart Moto Racing, however he and the squad parted ways via mutual agreement during the 2025 event.
