The Jurby South National Road Race meeting on Saturday 22nd May has been cancelled.
The organising Andreas Club says the condition of the road surface around the 4.25 mile course has led to the track circuit licence being withdrawn until repairs are carried out by the Government Department of Infrastructure.
After one of the coldest winter's for a generation, many roads around the Island are riddled with potholes.
The Department says it is not in a position to carry out the necessary repairs in time for the Jurby meeting, with other routes being deemed as priority cases.
The T.T. Mountain Course will be top of the maintenance list.
