Manxman takes yellow jersey at Criterium du Dauphine
Peter Kennaugh took victory for Team Sky yesterday in the first stage of the Tour de France warm-up - the Criterium du Dauphine.
The 25-year-old Manx rider attacked a group of breakaway riders with two kilometres left and held off the peloton to take the yellow jersey at the start of the week-long event.
Peter finished 2 seconds clear of nearest competitor and stage favourite Sacha Modolo - something he says was a surprise:
