
Irish race walker David Kidd is back to defend his 20km race walking title at Saturday's Manx Harriers open athletics meeting.
The event takes place at the National Sports Centre perimeter roadway.
A Junior 1km walk opens the day at 10am and is followed by the main event with other race distances of 3km, 5km and 10km rolled into the one combined race.
There's a party of young walkers over from Ireland who will tackle the best of the local talent.
The final contest of the day is a 10km run starting at 2.30pm.
