
Young German sprinter Marcel Kittel took an easy victory on stage two of the Dubai Tour.
As expected, the 122 km stage from Dubai to Palm Jumeirah ended in a bunch sprint.
Having looked in control, Mark Cavendish and his Omega Pharma-Quick Step team lost control at the front with the Manx Missile boxed in.
Cav sat up in the last 500 metres and didn't contest the finish.
Tomorrow's third stage is the longest in the four-day event.
Riders will tackle a 162 km route from Dubai to Hatta with another bunch sprint expected at the end.
