The Austrian-Manx combination of Klaus Klaffenbock and Dan Sayle are celebrating after winning the opening sidecar race of TT 2010.
They took a dramatic victory by 2.6 seconds from Dave Molyneux and Patrick Farrance.
It was a popular victory and closer than seemed possible with Molyneux closing the gap after Klaffenbock held a 11 second advantage at Ballaugh on the final lap.
John Holden and Andrew Winkle retired at Sulby on the last lap while in third place and that enabled Tim Reeves and Dipash Chauhan to claim the other podium spot.
After victory, Klaffenbock admitted it hadn’t quite sunk in.
