Manx rider Dan Kneen made his British Superstock 600c.c. Championship return at Brands Hatch at the weekend after breaking his leg in a crash at the T.T..
He narrowly failed to make it a winning comeback when Luke Mossey made a move on the last corner which very nearly saw the two collide. Kneen lost out by under half a second.
Riding the Mark Blooms Racing Honda, he did have the consolation of breaking the lap record at the G.P. circuit, and the points gained have moved him up to 7th in the overall standings.
In the British Superstock 1000c.c. Championship, Conor Cummins finished 8th on the Team Blackhorse Yamaha and Gavin Hunt crossed the line in 14th place
