Slow & steady tactics get Manx rider to the finish line
David 'Knighter' Knight has been reflecting on his team tactics after completing the 2021 Dakar Rally.
It's a gruelling 7,646km race through desert sands, that often sees over half the riders competing drop out due to technical issues, and a rally Knight has been watching on TV since he was a child.
Knight, who had zero experience riding in the desert, not only completed the Rally in his Dakar debut but came in 24th out of 63 contenders.
