Manxman David Knight is Enduro World Champion again.
He clinched the Maxxis E3 World Championship after winning the second leg of the Turkey GP yesterday (Sunday), the penultimate round of the championship.
It’s his third title success after victory in 2005 and 2006.
Knight has won eight races this season, as well as securing regular places on the podium.
‘It's a great feeling and a big relief to have wrapped up the Enduro 3 championship,’ he said.
‘I always believed that I could do it. I knew it wouldn't be easy to win this year, it never is, but I just kept working hard and staying positive. I was a little bit nervous on day one, but I still rode pretty well. I stayed a lot more relaxed on day two and really enjoyed the day. I'm glad the second day went well because it's good to win the championship with a day win.'
Knight was generous with his thanks to KTM and Farioli team, his mechanic and sponsors, saying that they all had played a part in helping him win the title.
