David Knight is seeing a specialist in Manchester today about the thumb he injured at the Enduro World Championship in Spain yesterday.
Taking to Twitter, Knighter said he wouldn't be back racing until he felt 100%.
He's also sparked speculation about his future in the sport, though, after saying he was going to use the time out to have a good think and possibly go in a different direction.
He says the EWC is not real enduro any more and is not the sport he fell in love with, as 'certain people' have turned it into 'one-lap motocross tests, brain out full throttle'.
