Competition being held at Douglas golf course
The 36-hole qualifying rounds of the Investasure-sponsored Isle of Man Ladies Golf Championship took place at a sunny but windy Douglas golf course yesterday.
Competition was close for the eight available qualifying places, which eventually went to Ana Dawson, Kayleigh Dawson, Lea Dawson, Breshey Jansen, Joy Platt, Shirley Price, Christina Skelly and Lindsey Tickle.
Kayleigh Dawson produced the best score of the day, finishing on 160.
Her cousin Ana, the defending champion, had the worst score of the eight qualifiers with 173.
The pair will face each other in the quarter-final, which takes place on Wednesday evening.
The other pairings are; Tickle vs Price, Ana Dawson vs Jansen and Platt vs Skelly.
