Extended transfer system rejected
The next Football season will start after the Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling.
The decision was made at a Rules Revision meeting at The Bowl last night.
Opening fixtures will be played on Saturday 9th September.
The clubs also rejected the proposed new extended transfer window and no committee is to be established to look at Campaign 55.
That was rejected 18-2 but it was agreed to keep a watching brief on the attempt to gain UEFA status by Jersey.
If Jersey is successful the situation will be reviewed.
