One of the Island's most successful football clubs of the last few years celebrates its centenary this weekend.
On October 20 1910, Laxey Association Football Club played its first ever match, facing Gymnasium at Tromode, with Gymns winning 4-1.
This Saturday, October 16, the Isle of Man FA has arranged for the two sides to play each other in a "centenary" match in the Canada Life Premier League, albeit at Laxey this time.
Laxey AFC is inviting everyone, particularly ex-players, to come to the match and join in the post-game celebrations.
