Miners thrash Old Boys at The Bowl
Laxey have won the Kirby Estates Cowell Cup.
They beat Old Boys 5-1 at The Bowl.
Old Boys took the lead after 16 minutes through Ryan Gartland who was then sent-off 9 minutes later.
Laxey equalised right on the stroke of half-time and then took the lead straight after the break through Tom Murray.
Joe Walters and Cian Brook scored further goals before Old Boys were reduced to nine men with the dismissal of Lewis Daley.
Matty Wilkinson completed the rout in the 80th minute to see the Miners to the silverware.
