Rider says incident happened several weeks ago in Spain
TT competitor Lee Johnston has suffered a broken leg after a crash during testing.
The Ashcourt Racing rider revealed the injury in his latest vlog on his YouTube channel saying it happened several weeks ago whilst riding in Cartagena, Spain.
As a result, he's been ruled out of this week's Daytona 200 event in the USA and now faces a race against time to find fitness ahead of this year's North West 200 and Isle of Man TT Races.
Johnston says he will keep people posted over the coming weeks on his progress:
In 2023, Johnston was ruled of TT after sustaining life-threatening injuries in a crash at the 2023 North West 200.
Following a recovery phase, he then the confirmed in November last year that he intended to return to racing in 2024, including at the Northern Ireland and Isle of Man meetings in May and June.
