Season starts with Championship Field Archery Competitions
Lesley and Rodger Sleight are back in action after 18 months out of competition during the pandemic.
The power couple recently represented the Isle of Man Archery Club at the GB Archery UK 3D Championships in Wales.
Lesley finished 3rd in Ladies Instinctive class and Rodger 6th in the Mens' class.
The following weekend both archers competed in Archery GB English Championships held in Kendal.
Lesley again finished 3rd and Rodger 5th.
Both shoots also acted as Great Britain selection events but neither archer achieved the required selection scores; the repercussions of restarting again with two major competitions after such a long absence.
The pair also took the opportunity to compete in a National Field Archery Society open shoot in Nottingham representing Bowderyn Vannin Field Club.
This was a more relaxed event with Lesley finishing 2nd and Rodger 6th.
