The House of Keys will be formally dissolved at midnight tonight (Thursday), marking the end of the current administration ahead of next month's general election.
The 24 people who currently have the letters 'MHK' after their names will no longer hold the position, and they will have nowhere to call home, as they leave the legislative buildings in Douglas for the hurly burly of the hustings!
It's certain that when the Keys next meets there will be at least two new faces, with the long-serving members in Castletown and Michael retiring from politics.
Newly elected members will be sworn in on October 4.
In the meantime, it will be business as usual for ministers as they retain their portfolios until they are officially replaced.
