Castletown MFC hope to provide greater analysis to coaches and players
A local football club in the south of the Island is rolling out new camera technology at their ground.
Castletown Metropolitan Football Club, with the aid of a sponsorship boost from Hartford Homes, will implement a Veo Sports Camera.
The team says it will help with analysing performances, improving coaching, and provide insight to players through stats and other data-analysis.
Club chairman Patrick Quinney said: "We are delighted with all of the developments being made within the club. The senior teams have started the season impressively and it is nice to see so many young players involved within the club.
"The instalment of the Veo camera is a fantastic addition. It gives coaches and players the opportunity to analyse games and to learn valuable lessons from team performances moving forward."
Castletown MFC currently sit top of the Ardern & Druggan Ltd. Division 2.
