Manxman begins U18s EFL campaign
Over the weekend, Manxman Adam Long helped Wigan under 18s get off to a winning start in their season opener against Preston North End.
Saturday's (Aug 4) EFL Youth Alliance fixture saw the Latics come from behind to beat the Lancashire side 4-2.
The 17-year-old centre half was praised for his 'striker's finish' as he volleyed home from close range to put Wigan 3-2 up.
