
Manx Harrier Kevin Loundes won Sunday's Syd Quirk Half Marathon, which incorporated the Isle of Man Championships.
He produced a personal best time of 1.15.30, which was four minutes faster than second placed Nigel Armstrong. Western AC's Ben Scott was third.
Gail Griffiths retained the ladies title in 1.35.14 ahead of Sarah Nelson who was just over a minute behind. Helen Taylor of Western AC was third.
Peter Kaneen was the winner in his debut outing in the walk recording a new course record of 1.44.28, ahead of Michael George in second and Jock Waddington of the host club IOMVAC in third. Lisa Motley was the first lady finisher.
