It was a fairly successful general election for the Liberal Vannin Party.
Peter Karran topped the poll in Onchan, with fellow Lib Van member Zac Hall joining him in the constituency, at the expense of Adrian Earnshaw.
And Kate Beecroft (pictured) settled a score with Bill Malarkey in South Douglas, pipping him into second place behind David Cretney.
As she delivered her speech, after the result was announced, she was still taking it in (listen to audio file below):
Bill Malarkey was elected to the Keys as a Liberal Vannin candidate in 2006, but later resigned from the party.
