The all-Manx pairing of Mark Cavendish and Peter Kennaugh stormed to victory at this weekend's British Madison Championships in Manchester.
Cavendish, who is aiming to ride in the event at the Beijing Olympics, was to be paired with Bradley Wiggins but illness forced him out.
After a steady start to the race, Cavendish and Kennaugh finished two laps clear of their nearest rivals, Jonny Bellis and partner Andrew Fenn.
Chris Whorrall and Dan McLay were fifth and Mark Christian and Erick Rowsell were eighth.
On Saturday Christian finished 11th overall - and second junior - in the 47th Eddie Soens memorial race. Whorrall was 36th overall and fifth junior home.
