Police reviewing CCTV footage
Malew Football Club has reported vandalism and littering at its grounds for the second time in under two weeks.
In a post on social media, the club says it has reviewed the first case, which happened on Wednesday, 5 May, after it was caught on CCTV.
The footage shows a group of youths rummaging in the bins and smashing beer bottles on the walls and ground.
The images are currently being investigated by police.
However, the club has experienced more smashed glass in its dug out area this week.
Again, CCTV footage is being handed to police.
In its social post, Malew said:
'As a club who is in the process of bringing Junior football back to our village we want to reassure everyone we have a safe place to play for our young children, and are nothing but disappointed that certain youths are putting so many people at risk of serious injury with their mindless behaviour.'
