'Manx football could benefit from Wembley sale'

England's national stadium has been the subject of a £1bn bid

A senior figure at the Isle of Man FA believes Manx football could benefit from the sale of Wembley.

The England football team's national stadium has been the subject of a total bid understood to be in the region of £1bn from businessman Shahid Khan.

Views on whether or not the offer should be accepted are divided, but many feel grass roots football would get a massive boost in funds should the sale go through.
