Club takes home win from IOM Sport Celebration of Coaching ceremony
A long-standing athletics club has been commended for their forward-thinking in coaching.
Manx Harriers has been jointly awarded the Accolade for Innovation in Coaching for implementing the Athletics 365 programme by England Athletics.
The initiative looks at holistic development of young people and aims to enhance fundamental movement skills, nutrition and organisation, as well as addressing the social and emotional aspects of the sport.
Niall McGarrigle says numbers at training have tripled since the introduction of the programme:
