Joe Harris produced best performance of season
Manx javelin thrower Joe Harris has described his happiness after securing a silver medal at the British Athletics Championships.
He produced his best throw in three seasons at 72.65m in a performance which put him above the Commonwealth Games standard of 70m.
The 24-year-old led until the final throw of the event and was only pipped to top spot by one centimetre.
Joe spoke to Manx Radio about claiming the accolade following a previous injury setback:
