After the first eight stages run yesterday evening defending Champion and three-time winner Melvyn Evans and Aled Davies in a Subaru Impreza were in the lead, 20 seconds ahead of Paul Bird and Kirsty Riddick in their Ford Focus.
Leading crews are due back at the Grandstand for the finish at around 3.30pm

The chairman of Manx Auto Sport says the club accepts an error was made
