Island event recognised by Protyre Asphalt Rally Championship
The Manx Rally has won a national industry award for the second year in a row.
During a recent ceremony the 2024 Island race was crowned Best Protyre Asphalt Rally Championship event.
Race organisers Manx Auto Sport is thanking all those involved in running the meeting and putting it into place.
It comes after the 2023 Manx Rally also secured the same honour and marked 60 years since the event first began in 1963.
Last month plans were unveiled for the 2025 Manx Rally which it's been confirmed will be held across Friday, 11 April and Saturday, 12 April.
Once again it will form a round of the Protyre Asphalt Rally Championship as well as rounds of the ANWCC Stage Rally Championship and Manx Rally Championship.
For this year's occasion there are 18 special stages planned with around 120 road miles linking 120 competitive miles.
Since it first began the rally has been won by a number of major names in the sport which include Colin McRae, Henri Toivonen, Ari Vatanen and Roger Clark.
