Andrew Dudgeon and Conor Cummins in top 3
The first race day of the Festival of Motorcycling kicked off with an extra qualifying session, following a week of sporadic practice for most riders.
And it was a strong performance for the Manx contingent in the CTT Superbike/CTT Lightweight/MGP Senior/MGP Junior/MGP Newcomers A & B practice.
Fastest at the end of two laps of the TT Mountain Course was Andrew Dudgeon with an average speed of 122.846mph - the fastest lap we've seen so far at the meeting.
Team York Suzuki rider Gary Johnson came in second fastest at 121.533mph, and third was Ramsey Rocket Conor Cummins with 121.360mph.
