Vikings men’s team bowed out of the English Hockey Association Trophy in the third round on Sunday.
They went down 3-2 at Bramhall in Stockport in an exciting contest.
Paul Kelly struck both for Vikings but, with no subs, they ran out of steam and were beaten by a 68th minute winner.
Former Manx champions Valkyrs were also defeated as they lost 2-1 in Middlesborough against Marton Furness.
