Promising Ramsey swimmer Poppy Evans has been given the chance to further her potential with the Ellesmere Titans.
The young Manx prospect took silver in 200m breaststroke and bronze in the 50m race at this year's North West Youth Championships.
She told BBC Radio Shropshire, "I'm delighted to be joining the Titans - this is a great chance for me."
Coach Jon Pardoe says, "She's very promising and will gain inspiration from our former Olympic swimmer Darren Mew and British champion Stacey Tadd."
The 16-year-old Ramsey Grammar School student, who is a member of both the Ramseian and Isle of Man Swimming Clubs, will join Ellesmere College Titans' elite swimming programme in September.
