More benefits than just playing, says co-ordinator
The Manx Youth Games is more than sport for the Island, it's for the whole community, according to events co-ordinator Gareth Lloyd.
Although the occasion is in May, preparations for the 2024 games are already underway after the launch night was held earlier this week, and training beginning on 22 January.
Gareth says it's inspiring to hear from athletes who began their journey with sport at the event, with some going on to represent the Island at international level.
However, he says there are more benefits from the games than just playing:
Football: Corinthians hammer Ayre United to reach Hospital Cup last four
Battles to resume in ARA Championship
IoM women victorious at Preston North End
NW200: Storm Stacey takes debut double on final day
Archery: Silver for Sleight at UK & Ireland championships
