Theresa May calls Manchester event a 'celebration fit for heroes'
The Manxman who narrowly missed out on a medal at the Rio Olympics will be absent from a parade later.
Tim Kneale can't make the event which has been described by UK Prime Minister Theresa May as a 'celebration fit for heroes'.
More than 150,000 people are expected to line the route in Manchester as athletes who won 67 medals in Brazil mark their efforts.
Although he won't be on the parade bus, Kneale hopes as many people as possible go along to show their support.
