Addinall joining IPA tour
A local eight-ball pool player is looking to go where no Manxman has gone before.
David Addinall has been competing internationally at amateur level for several years - and in 2018 he's taking the plunge to try and make it as a professional.
Normally based at the Whitestone pub in Ballasalla, the 35-year-old will now be competing on the International Professional Pool Players Association Tour.
The IPA runs an annual five-event series that tours the UK, a 'World Series' competition, and the annual Professional World Championships.
His first televised match will be in the Champions Cup on 9 April - live on Freesports TV.
