The Isle of Man claimed the gold medal in the women's hammer in Aland this evening.
Marit Zahkna set a new record for the NatWest Island Games, with a best throw of 48.89 metres, easily beating the old record of 45.04 metres.
Marit, who is Estonian by birth, was pleased to stand at the top of the podium, but was slightly disappointed as well.
