Manxman Mark Higgins has won the second round of the British Rally Championship.
The three-times former champion swept to victory at the Jim Clark International Rally, which finished in Kelso yesterday (Sunday) afternoon – two and a half minutes his winning margin.
And it was good news for his brother David who, although suffered cruel luck at the end with gearbox problems which denied him a family 1-2, managed to secure third place and move to the top of the overall standings.
The next round of the British Championship is Rally Isle of Man in July.
