Manx fighter gets off to winning start in Georgia
Manx UFC competitor, Alanna Pritchard has taken victory in her opening contest at the 2025 IMMAF World Championships in Georgia.
The fighter from Ramsey - who's representing Team England - defeated Diana Akhmetova of Kazhakstan via technical knockout in her opening bout of the competition yesterday (30 September).
As a result, the 22-year-old will now face Georgian competitor, Mariam Topuria in the final of the Senior Women's Super Welterweight Division tomorrow (2 October).
Pritchard is chasing a second successive world title in 2025 having won gold in the same weight class at the same championships in Uzbekistan in 2024.
