Road racer to focus on mountain bike race instead
Guy Martin has confirmed he will miss TT 2016, and the North West 200 in Ireland.
The Lincolnshire rider has decided to take part in the Tour Divide, which takes place at the same time as the TT.
Held in North America, it's regarded as one of the toughest mountain bike races in the world.
Martin says he has been talking about doing this race for three years, and has made the decision to focus on that, rather than the two road racing meetings, this summer.
He's not ruling out a return to motorcycle road racing, but says for now, his brain needs something else.
