But Manxman says he can't be complacent over February showdown
Manx pro boxer Mathew Rennie believes he's proven himself capable of fighting for a title, with hopes to challenge for one later this year.
After his latest victory in December, 'Magic' Rennie says he and his team are remaining patient over possible opportunities in the future.
The unbeaten Island-born competitor - whose pro record stands at eleven wins and one draw - announced his first bout of 2024 will take place on 17 February at Grand Central Hall in Liverpool.
Despite his long-term goals, Mathew adds he knows he can't be complacent and has to remain solely focused on his latest showdown next month:
