James McBride will ride for Phase One at T.T. 2009.
The Northanptonshire racer was due to compete for the World Endurance team at this year's event but crashed heavily at Gorse Lea in practice.
He has only just recovered from his injuries.
McBride will also tackle the North West 200 and is likely to enter the Southern 100 under his own colours.
The deal with Phase One also allows him the chance to test and be the spare rider over the entire World Endurance schedule.
