23-time TT winner topped Classic Senior session on first day
John McGuinness MBE says he's enjoyed being back out on his Paton machine for this year's Manx Grand Prix.
McGuinness got three laps out on his Team Winfield machine during the Classic Senior qualifying session yesterday (21 August).
He topped the standings in the class, clocking a best lap speed of 109.637mph, ahead of Stefano Bonetti who was second fastest on the Peter Beugger Racing Paton posting 104.939mph.
McGuinness says he possibly feels 'maybe a little less pressure' at these races, but ultimately is respecting the course:
