McGuinness raring to tackle Mountain

Thirteen time T.T. winner and absolute solo lap record holder John McGuinness is relishing the prospect of taking on the Mountain Course and his rivals when the 2008 meeting starts next month.

He describes himself "as fit as a fiddle" as he prepares to attempt to overhaul Mike Hailwood's tally of 14 race victories to move into second place on the all-time list.

With H.M. Plant Honda not coming to T.T. 2008, McGuinness will ride for Clive Padgett with Honda support.

He says he's very relaxed about the whole arrangement:-
