Champion hopes to recover from injury this month
Twenty-three-time TT champion John McGuinness has signed for Norton ahead of the 2018 event.
Still recovering from a serious crash last year, it's been announced McGuinness will line up for the Castle Donnington manufacturer, joining Josh Brookes to compete in the Superbike and Senior Race.
In an article for online publication bikesportnews.com, the Morceambe Missile said he wasn't sure he'd able to return after injury, but hopes by the end of this month to be working towards getting bike fit.
Norton will provided an injection of enthusiasm, and there's no reason we can't 'do the business' if the stars align said McGuinness.
He last saw victory in the TT during the Superbike class race in 2015.
