
It was a miserable day for bike fans on Saturday.
The first scheduled practice session for the 2008 Manx Grand Prix was cancelled three hours before it was due to get underway, due to the prevailing weather conditions.
The next practice is scheduled for Monday evening.
And it was a similar story in Northern Ireland with the Ulster Grand Prix
cancelled after heavy rain prevented racing from taking place at the Dundrod circuit.
