The Department of Tourism and the Manx Motor Cycle Club have signed an agreement to incorporate the Manx Grand Prix races into a motorsport festival showcasing different aspects of motorcycling past and present.
The newly named Manx Grand Prix Festival will include events which have previously been organised separately such as the Vintage Motor Cycle Club rally, the sprint at Ramsey, the Two Day Trial and the Classic Two Day Trial.
The Manx Motor Cycle Club will still run the race programme around the Mountain Course.....but the Department will help with course set-up, the running of the paddock and developing the festival concept in future years.
