Michael Dunlop has revealed he is considering a year away from racing. In a message posted on his facebook page, he reveals he has not signed any contracts for 2014 due to "various complications attached to each offer" put to him. Sports Editor Tim Glover has more:- Michael Dunlop admits he is disappointed to be in this situation, especially after the season he has just enjoyed which saw him four races at T.T. 2013 and finish top of the Duke Road Race Rankings. Dunlop says he is as keen as ever to race motorbikes but is not prepared to do so without the right package and equipment in place. He has posted "sadly at this moment in time I will not be racing in 2014." Michael Dunlop goes on to say he will still consider racing next year if something is proposed that meets his criteria - until then he says he hopes to be back in 2015 or 2016. He then thanks sponsors and fans who have supported him "through thick and thin".
