Careers of he and his father celebrated on final day of TT 2024
Seven-time TT winner Michael Rutter has described it as an 'emotional' moment as he and his father's legacies at the TT were celebrated today (8 June).
Between today's final races a Rutter Legacy Lap was held with Michael and other riders riding on machinery from his career as well as his father, Tony who was also a seven-time TT winner.
What's more the corner on the course known as 'Glen Helen 1' is being renamed 'Rutters' in their honour.
Before heading out for the celebratory parade, Michael told Radio TT it felt a bit surreal when he first found out what the organisers had in mind:
