Bronze in elite road race, silver in U23 class
Lizzie Holden has won bronze in the elite women's road race at the HSBC UK National Road Cycling Championships in Norfolk this evening.
That was also enough for her to be awarded the silver medal in the under-23 category.
It's been a successful championships for Holden, who also won silver in the under-23 time trial on Thursday.
Alice Barnes took the gold in the elite road race, to add to the one she won in the elite time trial.
Lizzie's fellow Manx rider and Drops team mate Anna Christian finished in 19th place, while Becky Storrie, who was making her debut at British national level, did not finish.
