Geordies beat Old Boys in the final
St George's claimed yet another title yesterday.
They beat Old Boys 3-1 in the final of the Hospital Cup at the Bowl, thanks to a hat-trick from Calum Morrissey.
He netted twice in the first half, to put Geordies 2-0 up at the break.
Callum Stewart poked in from close range early in the second half to get Old Boys back in the game.
Morrissey saved his best for last, though, turning and smashing in a half-volley from at least 40 yards out.
In addition to the Hospital Cup, St George's have won the Canada Life Premier League and the Railway Cup this season.
Only Peel, who won the FA Cup, stopped the Glencrutchery Road side winning another Grand Slam.
