Cyclist Chris Nicholson has won the Charles Alexander watch, a special award presented by the Strand Street jewellers for the most impressive rider from Team Manx Telecom.
The team's website says Nicholson had a good year, improving considerably from his first year in the junior ranks.
He finished with bronze in the National Junior Road Race back in May and followed that up with eighth overall in the National Road Series.
Nicholson also took a brace of fifth places in the national points and scratch races at the British Track Championships.
He looks to have secured a place on a Belgian under-23 team for the 2011 season on the back of his good results.
